Please carefully read through Hometown Markets Terms and Conditions:

Vendor selection | Due to the limited space and variety of vendors needed for market, Hometown Markets reserves the right to accept or deny vendor applications based on market needs and vendor specialty.

Hours of operations | Vendors must stay for the duration of the market, unless pre-arranged with market organizers.

Sharing a booth | Vendors may share a booth, however each vendor must apply separately and pay their portion of the booth fee by the payment deadline.

Booth payment | Once your application is accepted, payment is due by the deadline stated in an acceptance email following your application. If payment is not received by this time, spaces will be given to vendors on the waiting list. Market spaces are not reserved until payment is received.

Electricity |  Electricity is $20. Vendors should indicate the need for electricity on their application.
Electricity is NOT available for heaters, fans, or other appliances, unless pre-approved by Hometown Markets. Electrical cords must be carefully covered for safety. Vendors are expected to bring their own extension cords to access electricity.

Internet Access/Cell Coverage | Wifi is provided by the venue, but please come prepared to do business without Internet access or cell service. WiFi access and cell coverage can not be guaranteed.

Booth size | A standard vendor space is 10 feet x 10 feet.

Assignment of spaces | Designation and allocation of vendor spaces will be decided by Hometown Markets. While Hometown Markets will try to accommodate requests, there is no guarantee that vendors will secure preferred spaces. Hometown Markets reserves the right to rearrange and reassign booth spaces at any time.

Setup | Vendors must supply their own signage, extension cords and power strips, storage, and all materials and containers for customer sales

Sales tax and permits | Vendors shall, if applicable, have a Sales Tax Certificate or any applicable licenses and permits available for inspection at their market booth. It is the vendor’s responsibility to comply with the State Comptroller’s requirements for any products sold at Hometown Markets.

Food safety | Vendors are responsible for obtaining all applicable licenses & permits. Vendors shall comply with all applicable City Of Brandon and State of Mississippi and federal ordinances and/or regulations regarding permits, sampling, and safe handling of potentially hazardous foods.

Revisions | The market shall reserve the right to revise the rules and regulations at any time and shall post notice of such revision to vendors.

Vendor Conduct | Vendors are required to conduct their business and communications with market staff, customers, other vendors, and any other market representative in a professional manner. Unprofessional, impolite and/or disagreeable behavior to any market representative, vendor, or customer will not be tolerated. Hometown Markets may terminate its vendor relationship at any time at the full discretion of the organizers.

Please carefully read through our cancellation policy:

$100 is due upon registration as a non-refundable deposit, and the booth space will not be reserved until that payment is received. The remaining portion of the booth payment is due 5 weeks prior to the event.

Vendors must give 4 weeks notice in order to receive a partial refund if cancelling their booth reservation. In the event that Hometown Markets cancels an event for any reason, vendors will be refunded in full.

The market will take place rain or shine, and booth fees are non-refundable if the event has not been cancelled. If a severe weather for the duration of the market is forecasted, Hometown Markets would cancel the event and would refund the vendor fees.

Please carefully read through the Hometown Markets Tax Policy:

Sales tax forms from each vendor participating with Hometown Markets must be turned in at the close of every event. Each vendor will submit their total amount of sales tax to be forwarded to the MS Department of Revenue.

We are required by law to submit the total sales tax (from all sales) from our sponsored event in one check from our tax account. A list of all event vendors will be submitted to the MS Department of Revenue, as required by law.

Check the box below to acknowledge that you have read and agree to all above conditions:

Thank you for your interest in being a vendor with Hometown Markets! Our team will review your application and you should receive word from us within a week concerning your participation. If for some reason we cannot accept your application, you will receive your $100 deposit back.
